Thank you for volunteering with us on the S.E.R.V. Team (Specialty Event Role Volunteer)! You are a part of the team that makes these All-Stars Clubs run. Below you will find the roles included in the S.E.R.V. Team.
S.E.R.V. TEAM ROLES
- Medical Expert - Onsite medical professional (i.e. nurse/doctor/physician assistant/ nurse practitioner/ EMT) responding to any medical emergency that might arise. Also, be willing to provide toileting assistance.
- Safety - Responsible for ensuring the safety of all-stars and volunteers as well as being able to assist medical if needed.
- Setup Team - Helps with getting all the equipment set up for the event as well as the various areas for the event including karaoke, crafts, registration, and snack area.
- Registration - Assist with checking in volunteers and all-stars. Also, handle processing transactions for shirt purchases and gathering information along with waiver release for any walk-ins.
- Karaoke Team - Responsible for being the karaoke emcee and playing all songs through the sound system provided. Also helps keep the energy going in the room when announcing the all-star and song. The individual should be willing to be a backup dancer or singer if the all-star would like support when performing.
- Media Team - Responsible for capturing the event through photos and short video clips using professional equipment or a quality smart phone.
- Volunteer Care Team - Responsible for helping to make buddy volunteers feel appreciated and supported.
- Chaplain - Responsible for coordinating and delivering the devotional/message during the half hour chapel service at the end of each All-Stars Club.
COVID POLICY UPDATE
Per current local guidelines, masks are encouraged for all volunteers attending the event. Masks are encouraged for All-Stars if they are able to wear them.
VOLUNTEER AGENDA
8:45am-9:15am - Volunteers arrive
9:15am-9:20am - Volunteer briefing/orientation
9:20am-9:30am - All-Stars are welcomed by volunteers and are assigned to a buddy
9:30am-11:30am - All-Stars participate in sports activities, karaoke, and arts/crafts
11:30am-12:00pm - Families, guests and volunteers are welcome to attend a short worship service
12:00pm-12:30pm - Dismissal and volunteer clean up
