About

Aurora Community Connection is looking for volunteers who will help elementary school students improve their reading and writing skills through structured tutoring sessions. Experience in tutoring or education is desirable but not required, as all tutors will receive initial, comprehensive training on how to use the Learning A-Z curriculum. Tutors will also receive ongoing training and support throughout their time with ACC to ensure proper implementation of the curriculum and ongoing development towards becoming a high-quality tutor.
Starting at 2 hours a week and going up to 8 hours a week Monday through Thursday 3:30 to 4:30 PM and/or 4:30 to 5:30 PM.

Requirement Details

  2. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
